How to get tattooed

•   Meet with tattooer – Schedule your consultation . Bring your reference(s). Discuss with your tattoo artist. They will draw something custom for you. All details regarding your tattoo will be discuss during the consultation such as , size, placement, color or black, etc.

•   Leave a Deposit – We require a deposit of $100 to start a project and to book an appointment to get tattooed that goes to the final price of your tattoo. Deposit is required for our time drawing, working in your project. 24 hour notice is required to reschedule or you will have to leave another deposit to re-book. All deposits are nonrefundable.

•   Show up to your appointment and do not be late.

• It’s good to have a good meal prior to getting to the shop. Tattooing takes a lot out of your body and you’ll need the fuel. our shop provide free snacks as well.

• You can bring a friend to support you but don’t bring your entire family or many people. Space is limited and a crowd tends to be disruptive, and it’s a health code violation. Our work space needs to be clear and calm. there are more customers sharing the tattoo shop in the same day of your appointment. we are a team of tattoo artists that work together.

• Pets are not allowed.

• You must be 18 to get a tattoo and tattoo shops are just not a place for minors.

• Walk-ins are always Welcome, but depends of our availability in that day and time. Sometimes you have to wait.

• For big projects we prefer appointments. We have more time to draw and think about your tattoo carefully.

• Pricing – Our shop minimum is $100 and hourly rate depends of the each tattoo artist. Call for a consultation and ask for their price.

What is keloid? It happens due to the excessive growth of scar tissue - that is, collagen - which is the protein that contributes to the healing of the skin. It increases in size in weeks or months, and can be identified by the large thickness and red color and hardening. You may still experience pain and itching. This happens in cases of burns, piercing or injuries.

For treatment we cannot recommend ointments, procedures, among other things. We always recommend that you see a doctor, as he will see what is the most appropriate treatment, some cases with only a surgical procedure.

An important warning is not to do any procedure at home. Always look for a professional to be guided in the safest way. don't look for friends or Google.

Granuloma

Granuloma: the famous “red balls” that show up in your piercings.
 granuloma are small nodules that inflame and cause pain. They simply isolate bacteria and foreign bodies that our body was unable to put out!

Popularly speaking are those small balls that appear in our piercing and that know a liquid, which looks like pus, but it is not. It is actually lymph, a clear liquid filled with healing cells. It happens due to several factors: poor quality jewelry, incorrect cleaning, friction, among other things.

No fear, granuloma is treatable and you can do the treatment at home.

But it is important to talk to your piercer before starting any treatment on your own. And one last important thing: do not confuse granuloma with keloid or hypertrophic scarring, which are totally different.

Should I do my piercing using “pistols”?

These pistols are not sterilized, as they cannot suffer high temperatures, that is, pass through the autoclave or think - it is a very big risk, as there can be contamination and possible infection. Any type of procedure that involves blood or body fluids needs to be very careful. The earring can even be sterile, but this does not resolve if the pistol is contaminated!
In addition, using this equipment, the tissue may suffer trauma due to the impact. The skin is impacted and there is no symmetry and angle.

How should i prepare for my tattoo?

We  recommend that you eat a meal shortly before your appointment, and  to drink plenty of water. It’s best not to come in after a hard night of partying. Alcohol can thin your blood and can prolong bleeding for up to a full day after your tattoo. Extra blood can tend to mix with our inks, which will affect the end appearance of your fully healed artwork.

Do you offer touch-ups, including for tattoos done by other artists?

Yes, we offer touch-ups. If your tattoo was done at our shop, we'll touch it up within 3 months of the initial appointment. For tattoos done elsewhere, it depends on the situation and the tattoo.

Can any tattoo be covered up?

Accepted Answer

Any tattoo can be covered up, although it may need to be faded with laser tattoo removal first. Even if you have a large, solid black tattoo, a good cover-up tattoo artist will work with you to create a strategy for covering it with a new design.
